Mozart’s Lacrimosa… A small snippet of music I’ve been listening to during my day-to-day recovery journey — a path where, at times, I almost lost all hope. 🙏🏼
(I had a bad fall in October 2025 that created an issue which simply didn’t want to go away. Recovery has been slow and, at moments, uncertain.)
It reminds me to appreciate the quiet but sacred moments: the steady progress, the unexpected discoveries, and the joy that slowly returns.
Deep gratitude for the people who have helped along the way, especially my brilliant osteopath Maria Nefeli Tsetseri, and for the journey itself — teaching patience, resilience, and hope again.
And eternal gratitude to music — my companion, my best friend, the language of my soul and the light that never leaves. 🎶✨
And as always, the most unexpected — sometimes even magical — things seem to happen when you are open to change and find yourself in the right place, at the right time, with the right people. 💚
That (almost never-ending) ascension in Mozart’s Lacrimosa … https://open.spotify.com/track/0oo0S7irGDedjjQU67YXCR?si=1234e6683b9c4382
It rises so slowly, so painfully, as if pain itself is learning how to breathe again. Each note climbs a little higher, pulling us upward through pain, sorrow and longing, until the music feels less like sound and more like a prayer.
If that doesn’t open even the most guarded heart, then perhaps there was no heart there to begin with. Some music doesn’t just move us—it reveals whether we can still feel at all.
The heart carries, music somehow reaches the wound directly. It doesn’t argue or explain—it simply holds the pain, transforms it, and lets it breathe.
In those moments, a piece like Mozart’s Lacrimosa feels less like composition and more like mercy. The rising lines don’t erase pain, but they lift it, dignify it, and remind us that even pain can be beautiful when it is shared through sound.
