About Xenia Elizabeth Zilli
Xenia Elizabeth Zilli is an accomplished pianist and piano educator who has built an international career as both a performer and mentor to pianists.
As a pianist, she possesses the rare ability to communicate deeply through the piano, conveying refined lyricism, subtle emotional nuance, and profound spiritual expression. She is a passionate interpreter of the keyboard repertoire spanning the 17th century (particularly Scarlatti and J.S. Bach), the 18th century (especially Beethoven), and the ever-expanding repertoire of the Romantic 19th century, including composers such as Field, Chopin, Schumann, Schubert, Grieg, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Mendelssohn and Smetana.
Alongside her performing career, Xenia is a visionary and innovative educator known for her extraordinary ability to inspire creativity and freedom of artistic expression in her students. Through constant encouragement and thoughtful guidance, she brings out the very best in each pianist she mentors.
Xenia Elizabeth Zilli descends from a family renowned for musicians and artists across several generations. Her musical personality was most profoundly shaped by her father, violinist and violist Milan Zilli, as well as by her teachers, mentors, and role models: the distinguished pianists and piano educators Olivera Djurdjevic, Igor Lazko, and Maria João Pires.
She studied Classical Piano Performance and Music Pedagogy at the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade, and also pursued studies in Fine Arts at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy.
In addition to her musical career, Xenia is an accomplished and award-winning colour therapy book author, designer, and illustrator. She has published 37 colour therapy books, which are available in bookstores and libraries around the world.

Writing is another of Xenia’s natural talents. Drawing on her extensive background and decades of experience as a professional musician, visual artist, book author, designer, and Nada Yoga therapist, she writes insightful articles, interviews, and blogs on music, the arts, education, and personal development.
In July 2022, Xenia founded the AAM (Alternative Approach to Music) method, a pedagogical vision designed to transform the way music is taught and experienced. The method aims to inspire, heal, and empower students and artists to discover their authentic artistic voice, develop their own expressive language, and fully realise their artistic potential.

In January 2023, she launched the 'Partitura Heart-to-Heart' project in Greece — a musical and social initiative dedicated to bringing music and art closer to people from all walks of life, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds.
In her highly sought-after piano workshops, Xenia Elizabeth Zilli integrates her musical expertise with her knowledge of Yoga and Nada Yoga, as well as her experience as a visual artist. She conducts these workshops internationally at prestigious music institutions and collaborates with renowned pianists, piano pedagogues, and other leading professionals.

Xenia Elizabeth Zilli currently mentors pianists both in person and online, working with students across Europe (including Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, and Germany), as well as the United Kingdom, Taiwan, and Malta.

"Piano performance and interpretation is not the work of days or months, it is the product of a lifetime work and cultivation, and a reflection of who a pianist is as a person."
