Discover how the ancient practice of Nada Yoga aligns with modern stress physiology, helping regulate the nervous system through all three stages of the stress response. Through sound, breath, mantra and deep listening, you will learn practical techniques to cultivate calm, restore balance and develop lasting resilience.
Rather than simply helping us "fight stress," Nada Yoga gently restores balance to the nervous system. Its practices gently cultivate balance through the breath, attention, emotions and, ultimately, our sense of inner harmony and identity.
You do not need to understand complex neurophysiology to benefit from these practices. The course is designed for complete beginners and unfolds naturally according to the body's own capacity for regulation and recovery.
Instead of focusing on illness or pathology, the course follows the body's natural journey through the three stages of Hans Selye's General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS), offering practical Nada Yoga techniques appropriate to each stage.
Drawing on many decades of experience as a Nada Yoga practitioner and teacher, I guide each participant at a pace that respects their individual needs and experience. Whether you are completely new to Nada Yoga or seeking a more structured personal practice, the emphasis is always on direct experience rather than theory.
I have structured it as a journey from survival → regulation → resilience → growth.
The Three Stages of Stress
1. Alarm — "I cannot slow down."
Learn practices that calm the nervous system through conscious breathing, humming and mindful external listening.
2. Resistance — "I keep going, but I am running on empty."
Restore energy through rhythm, mantra, resonance and intentional moments of inner pause.
3. Exhaustion — "I have nothing left to give."
Support deep recovery through effortless awareness, silence, inner listening and compassionate self-care.
